NY-19 is in the final phase of the Congressional primary season for Democrats.  With the June 26 primary election roughly two months away, things are heating up. Journalist Andrew Solender just published an article in the glossy Hudson Valley magazine Chronogram titled “John Faso’s got seven problems and Diane Neal ain’t one of them” , about the Congressional candidates in NY-19 and the fierce, constant protesters that have been outside Faso’s Kingston office every Friday for more than a year.

If you haven’t made up your mind about the candidates, there are three Candidate forums coming up, one this evening, one next Friday, and one on May 10th, so if you can tolerate driving, you will have several chances to check out the contenders and make an informed decision.  Follow the links below for detailed information:

Tonight’s event is at SUNY Oneonta in Otsego County:

Next Friday’s event is in Schoharie County:

Closer to Dutchess County, a candidate forum will be held in Saugerties on May 10th.

It’s critical that we select a Congressional Candidate who represents and reflects the citizens of our district, and the values and priorities of our voters.  Please do your homework and make a thoughtful decision, but most of all, support whoever the eventual candidate turns out to be.  Internal division only serves to empower the Republicans and there is too much at stake in this election to let that happen.  Firing Faso is a critical step toward wresting our nation and its institutions away from the corrupt Trump presidency and the heartless, greedy agenda of the Republicans.

Enjoy your Sunday…
